The edge trimming or Purfling is glued in place then trimmed flush by hand scraping.

A handle is screwed into the body allowing it to suspend free while it receives several clear coats of UV cured Polyester finish. Note the sides have been taped off and the soundhole covered.

After it left the finish room the new bridge was attached and the pocket was cut to receive the Taylor Neck.
