A limited edition Taylor Running Horse that had a fatal gouge to the top requiring a soundboard replacement.

Cleaned, prepped and ready to receive the new top.

At this point the top has been cut to size and is ready for bracing.

The back and sides are taped off as well as the rossette and purfling while the honeyburst coats are applied.

At this point the tape is removed so that the entire top can be clearcoated.

After the finish work is completed the area under the fingerboard is routed for the components of the Taylor Expression System.

This jig aligns the drill bit in the proper position for the neck pickup magnets.

Here's a view of the different routs under the fingerboard extension.

A few pictures of the completed work.
