The
owner of this Martin D-28 waited over fifteen years from the date
of damage to bring it in for repair. A chair fell on it as it
restwd on a stand during a music festival. The Braziilian rosewood
sides split as well as the neck and even the mahogony heel block.

A
previous repair person had installed a oversized pickguard in
an attemp to hide some top cracks. This phot also shows two top
cracks that run parralel with the fingerboard exstenstion. I agreed
to sand and refinish the top so as too minimize the size of a
new replacement pickguard.

New
Bridge, pickguard, saddle and pickup. When's the next Bluegrass
Festival? I'm ready!!
